Welcome to a selection of artwork produced by Alison Strachan, an artist and designer now based in Auchtermuchty, Fife, originally from Kintail in North West Scotland.

Alison loves colour! She makes vibrant images in pastel based on her experiences, observations and her fascination with colour, form and texture. The paintings featured here are available as giclee prints. You can see original work at Alison's studio (just 'phone first so that she can clear a pathway!) and in galleries around Scotland.

Alison indulges her passion for design, catering for those looking to enhance a domestic or business space with a range of unusual handmade mirrors. They range from contemporary wooden designs to unique, quirky or colourful finishes. She works with clients on commissions for all sorts of individual ideas. Many have made their way to hotels, restaurants, cafes and hairdressing salons - maybe you've spotted one?

And finally, ...... Alison has recently been experimenting in ink and paint on canvas. Ideas which have been developing in her head for years are now making their way out into the open! Complimenting these is a range of framed mixed media work which is always being added to.
